A man was in Jeep in a heavy
traffic, whilst waiting impatiently he saw a private plane passing. With much
frustration he said: when would I get this plane so that all this traffic
things would escape me ? Whilst praying he saw in his driving mirror another
man in his old Hyundai car pointing at the Jeep smiling. The Hyundai car owner
showed much interest in the Jeep also frustrated of how hot he's feeling in his
car, "oh God, when would I get this air conditioned car to enjoy some fresh air". Whilst praying, he saw in his
driving mirror someone pointing at his car showing interest. It was a taxi
driver who was also praying to have that Hyundai as his private car at least to
have a peace from passengers terrible insults poured on him. As if that was
all, he looked into his driving mirror and saw someone with a motorbike (okada
) on that hot sun, sweating with his load saying "why me, God.....at least
if I had this taxi, it could have given me a roof to prevent me from sweating
this way". Surprisingly he saw someone walking beside eyeing his motorbike
saying, "hmmmmmm, if I had this motorbike I wouldn't have suffered
crossing the bridge and it could have reduced my 5 miles walking looking for
job". He also turned and saw a cripple in an armchair shedding tears and
saying "had I got legs I would have been very happy". Whilst crying,
he saw an ambulance passing on the street, someone is dead and the relative
sitting closely praying "oh God, why won't you give him life and take two
of his legs away?" The truth is that, we are always ungrateful to Allah,
we are never content with whatever blessings He has bestowed on us. Just like
the driver's mirror, look backwards and you would be amazed people are crying
to reach where you are now. Tell me, if you are given all the riches in the
world, what would you do ? Probably you may have slept on "money bed"
and would that give you the sweetest dream ever ? Is Bill Gate the happiest man
on earth ? Can Dangote walk boldly and freely in town like I am doing all day
long ? They are very afraid of arm robbers and thieves. Some can't even sleep
spending the night protecting their wealth. The truth is that you and I are
very impatient. La-in shakartum la aziidannakum wa la-in kafartum....... ( If
you thank me, I would increase it for you but if you disbelieve.... ) that's
Allah's word. Glorify Him, thank Him and be content with whatever He destined
for you, In shaa Allah you shall not be the same. May Allah guide and protect
you, your friends, neighbours and family.......aameen
Thank you God
