Do not be Envious of the Prosperity of an Evil Doer

Abu Hurayrah Radhiyallahu Anhu relates that the Apostle of Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:You should never be envious of an evil-doer (an infidel or a pervert) because of a blessing or prosperity. You do not know what suffering he is going to endure after death. At Allah’s place (i.e., in the Hereafter) there is a killer for him that will not die.

Backbiting & Slander - an Islamic perspective

And why did you not, when you heard it, say? "It is not right of us to speak of this: Glory to God, this is a most serious slander" (Quran 24:16)

A commentary on one of the most destructive of major sins
Islam is a religion of peace, love and compassion. Lies, suspicion, back biting, slander and gossips are totally alien to Islam. In fact they are considered amongst the most destructive of major sins. Continue after the cut..

Wet-Dreams: Islam perspective...

Question : A muslim youth has a wet dream. What should he do?

(a) If it occurs before sahar in the holy month of Ramadan?
(b) If it happens after Sahar? What about fajr  prayers?
(c) What is the method of taking bath for purification?
(d) Is it sinful if wet dream occurs?

Answer : (a) If a person gets a wet dream before sahar in the month of Ramadan and has time to take Ghusle Janaba (bath for purification), then he should do it, and then eat his sahar. However, if he does not have the time for Ghusl, he should take Ghusl before the Fajr Prayer.
(b) If a person gets a wet dream after taking sahar in the state of Saum, he should take Ghusl as soon as he wakes up. One's fast does not break by wet dreams. Even if he happens to be in the state of Janaba for some time, there is nothing wrong in it. He should take a Ghusl before offering any Salaah/Prayer.
Narrated Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman.
My father and I went to Aisha (R.A.) and she said , " I testify that Allah's Messenger at times used to get up in the morning in a state of Janaba from sexual intercourse, not from a wet dream, and then he would fast that day." (Shaih Bukhari, Vol. No. 3, Hadith No. 1931)
(c) The right way of performing a bath for purification i.e. Ghusle Janaba is given in the following Hadith:
Narrated Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet (Phuh):
Allah's Messenger (pbuh) performed ablution like that for the Salat (prayer) but did not wash his feet. He washed off the discharged from his private parts and then poured water over his body. He withdrew his feet from that place (the place where he took the bath) and then washed them. And that was his way of taking the bath of Janaba. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Hadith No. 249)
(d) There is nothing wrong in getting wet dreams nor is it a sin, as mentioned in the following Hadith:
Narrated Ali Ibn Abu Talib
There are three whose actions are not recorded: a lunatic whose mind is deranged till he is restored to consciousness, a sleeper till he awakes, and a boy till he reaches puberty. (Sunan Abu Dawood Vol. 3, Hadith No. 4389)

BE THANKFUL TO GOD!

A man was in Jeep in a heavy traffic, whilst waiting impatiently he saw a private plane passing. With much frustration he said: when would I get this plane so that all this traffic things would escape me ? Whilst praying he saw in his driving mirror another man in his old Hyundai car pointing at the Jeep smiling. The Hyundai car owner showed much interest in the Jeep also frustrated of how hot he's feeling in his car, "oh God, when would I get this air conditioned car to enjoy some fresh air". Whilst praying, he saw in his driving mirror someone pointing at his car showing interest. It was a taxi driver who was also praying to have that Hyundai as his private car at least to have a peace from passengers terrible insults poured on him. As if that was all, he looked into his driving mirror and saw someone with a motorbike (okada ) on that hot sun, sweating with his load saying "why me, God.....at least if I had this taxi, it could have given me a roof to prevent me from sweating this way". Surprisingly he saw someone walking beside eyeing his motorbike saying, "hmmmmmm, if I had this motorbike I wouldn't have suffered crossing the bridge and it could have reduced my 5 miles walking looking for job". He also turned and saw a cripple in an armchair shedding tears and saying "had I got legs I would have been very happy". Whilst crying, he saw an ambulance passing on the street, someone is dead and the relative sitting closely praying "oh God, why won't you give him life and take two of his legs away?" The truth is that, we are always ungrateful to Allah, we are never content with whatever blessings He has bestowed on us. Just like the driver's mirror, look backwards and you would be amazed people are crying to reach where you are now. Tell me, if you are given all the riches in the world, what would you do ? Probably you may have slept on "money bed" and would that give you the sweetest dream ever ? Is Bill Gate the happiest man on earth ? Can Dangote walk boldly and freely in town like I am doing all day long ? They are very afraid of arm robbers and thieves. Some can't even sleep spending the night protecting their wealth. The truth is that you and I are very impatient. La-in shakartum la aziidannakum wa la-in kafartum....... ( If you thank me, I would increase it for you but if you disbelieve.... ) that's Allah's word. Glorify Him, thank Him and be content with whatever He destined for you, In shaa Allah you shall not be the same. May Allah guide and protect you, your friends, neighbours and family.......aameen

FORTUNE TELLERS

The worst tragedy that can happen to a man is to peep into his future! No one is happy or fulfilled by doing that! You can only succeed in multiplying your current troubles. If you are in the habit of visiting Seers or fortune Tellers to tell you what will happen to you tomorrow or what the future holds for you, then you are inviting multiple troubles to your life. Stay away from this habit and trust in your God for a better tomorrow. “E je ki a maa fi eleran ara se agbekele"!
