I remember!

I remember how difficult it was for a man to "toast/approach" a Lady. You needed a lot of rehearsals as a man then before you meet a lady, but not any more!.

I remember in those days how difficult it was for a lady to say "yes" to a man, but nowadays, you meet a person on facebook or twitter, the next thing relationship commence! Someone you have never met before?...Unbelievable!!!.

I remember how difficult it was to even hug your lady after she agreed to your love approach, the best thing you can get for at least your first few months together then was an hand shake.

I remember how long it takes to even gets to kiss her then. Her virtues, dignity and respect was paramount to her then, don't accuse her of not been "romantic" as today's Ladies !. She believed her body was the 'Temple of God'. And she will never walked semi-nicked on the street or post a provocative pictures on facebook/twitter just to gain some few "likes".

I remember how difficult it was to even invited a Lady into your house, even if she entered your house, you are not even sure she will enter your room.

I remember how difficult it was to talk a lady into sex.

I remember when HIV/AIDS wasn't as rampant as what we live to see everyday now. We cause this to ourselves majorly, because of our immoral behaviours!

I remember how Virginity was the order of the day then.

I remember how easy it was then to point out many virgin girls and even boys in our environments!

I remember how many people decided to keep their virginity till they meet their "Mr. Right". But Now, Ladies and guys don't take pride in declaring their virginity status anymore, a thing of pride before now has turns into a thing of shame now. What an irony!. They believe that if you are the only virgin among your Peers, then you are not in vogue!

I remember how I read recently with horror of disbelief, how a Lady "disvirgined" herself so as to save herself from the shame of been met a Virgin by her man or for reasons best known to her. What an Irony!

Gone are the days when been a virgin meant everything to a man.

Gone are the days when you have to tell your man your love life history and probably how you lost your Virginity.

This time around no body cares any more, no one give a damn!

What can we say gone wrong with our generation?

What exactly changed in our values and virtues?

Can we rightly say it is as a result of lost of values, culture, faith and identity? Or lack of fear of God? Or Civilization?

Imagine with rate of "promiscuousity" that is going around now in the world, I wonder what will happen to humanity in 20-30 yrs time!

The trending thing now is "gay right", "gay marriage".

Have we ever see a Cock having sex with a Cock? Or a Ram having sex with a Ram?

...If no, then the thinking faculty of some animals are higher than some human!

Let's imbibe those good virtues we inherited from our Parents to our own Kids.
It is not too late to heal the World!

...I think I should stop here before am accused of been an "old school", "uncivilized", "mi o ja si", "mi o rita".

EXTRAVAGANT SPENDINGS

Just Imagine! Because you are a Celebrity or Loaded with tons of cash, you bought a wrist watch of $200,000, when multitude are in medical conditions and are in need of a meager $2,500 to survive. You ride $450,000 car, when many children of the world haven't eaten anything today! Yet, You pride you have many in your collections. You even show us pictures of your collections on facebook/twitter to believe you!. Don't worry, we believe you, no one is doubting you. You are always in the habit of saying "I work for my money, I work for my money...", forgetting that many work harder than you, but they are not as successful as you are.

Firstly, I want you to know that no matter how expensive your Wrist watch is, as long as it won't tell you when your death is coming, its as useless as the letter "p" in Psycho word.

Secondly, on the day of your death, after angel death might have taken your life, if people around you can notice your hand, the wrist watch you were full of pride about will still be working and it might even ends up with a Stranger, then, you will have no objection!

Thirdly, may be you don't know, let me tell you, that no matter how big your house is, how recent your car is,or how huge your bank account is, our grave is still gonna be the same size. If you like, go and buy private cemetery, decorated it with expensive marble, we will end up in the same grave!

In Conclusion, no matter how pretty or cute your face might be today, you will still be the food for worms one day in your grave....Set your arrogance aside and always remember six feet!

Finally, I want you to stay humble, be good to people, obey your Creator and help as many people as you can, because these are the things people will remember you for when you are long gone! These are the things that matter in Hereafter!!

ABORTION

I woke up this morning, thinking about my journey of life so far, examine and analyzing on how to improve myself and I stumble on something important. First of all, I want to thank my both Parents (of blessed memories) for been a good and God fearing parents. God bless you Dad & Mum!

Something I took for granted for so long, came down on me today. I asked myself a question, what if my parent terminated me in pregnancy before they had me, under the disguise of "too early", "people will talk", "unwanted pregnancy", "the pregnancy will affect our planning"!

It is not funny at all, I was borned the subsequent year my big Sister was born!, i.e. while my sister was born 2012, I was born 2013! The implication was that my Sister was just few months, when my Mummy conceived me, yet both of them agreed to "keep me"! How good a Parent can be than this? Here I am today, a full grown man with beautiful family!

How I wish my both Parents are alive today! Anyway, the little period we shared together, they never regretted the single decision of keeping me. I will keep praying for them and carry on their good names till we meet again.

Meanwhile, let all abortion mongers know that, the child they are planning to abort today, might be the Moses Nigeria is waiting for tomorrow! Children should be sources of joy. The joy of seen one's child growing in your present can't be quantify. Ask a good Parent!

Why will your man ask you to abort that child? If he loves you, he will want to see your child! If he denied it today, keep it and move on, he will come back crawling to see his child tomorrow.

Don't kill yourself while trying to abort your pregnancy. Don't kill yourself to please a man. Don't damage your womb all in the name of 'love'. I want to believe that there is no unwanted pregnancy, rather what we have is unwanted lovers! If he loves you, he should marry you. If you have been killed by your own parents, will you be alive today?

For those that have engaged in the act in the past and sincerely regretted it, vouch never to go back to it, no matter the condition, I have a good news for you, our God is the Ultimate Forgiver of sins!. Sit down today, cast your mind back to your sins in silent, regret it, promise never to go back to the sin & keep your promise, God will forgive you.

...This evil act call abortion has to stop!

LIFE

We all come into this world without much of a choice. We didn’t choose our parents, we didn’t choose our appearances and neither do we have a choice of our innate qualities or tendencies whether good or bad. But there’s one more fact. We don’t have a choice on how we will die, where we will die, when we will die. So, why are you walking on the surface of earth as if you are the owner?....... Hmm, that's life!

LEARN NEW THINGS

Did you know… Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
Did you know… The body’s strongest muscle is our tongue.
Did you know… Statistically, people are more afraid of spiders than they are of dying.
Did you know… All polar bears are left handed.
Did you know… Crocodiles cannot stick out their tongue.
Did you know… Butterflies taste with their feet.
Did you know… A cockroach can live 9 days without it’s head. It only dies because it cannot eat.
Did you know… A duck’s quack has no echoe, and nobody knows why.
Did you know… Each King on playing cards represent a King in real history:
Spades: King David.
Clubs: Alexander The Great.
Hearts: Charlemagne.
Diamonds: Julius Cesar.
Did you know… It is impossible to sneeze with your eye’s open.
Did you know…Multiplying 111, 111, 111 x 111, 111, 111 = 12,345, 678, 987, 654, 321
Did you know…Starfish have no brains
Did you know… A statue in a park with a solder on a horse with it’s 2 feet in the air means the soldier died in combat. If the horse has only 1 foot in the air, the soldier died of injuries from combat. If the horse has all 4 feet on the ground, the soldier died of natural causes.
Did you know… Mosquitoes have teeth.
Did you know… Thomas Edison, the inventor of electric bulbs, was afraid of the dark.
Did you know… The word “cemetery” comes from the Greek koimetirion which means dormitory.
Did you know… When the English settlers landed in Australia, they noticed a strange animal that jumped extremely high and far. They asked the aboriginal people using body language and signs trying to ask them about this animal. They responded with “Kan Ghu Ru” the English then adopted the word kangaroo. What the aboriginal people were really trying to say was “we don’t understand you”, “Kan Ghu Ru”.

KNOW YOUR TEMPERAMENT

Four Temperaments

4 humours in respective order: choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic, and sanguine.
Four Temperaments is a theory of psychology that stems from the ancient medical concept of humorism.

History and development
Temperament theory has its roots in one of the ancient four humors theory. It may have origins in ancient Egypt or Mesopotamia, but it was the Greek physician Hippocrates (460-370 BC) who developed it into a medical theory. He believed certain human moods, emotions and behaviors were caused by body fluids (called "humors"): blood, yellow bile, black bile, and phlegm. Next, Galen (AD 131-200) developed the first typology of temperament in his dissertation De temperamentis, and searched for physiological reasons for different behaviors in humans. He mapped them to a matrix of hot/cold and dry/wet taken from the Four Elements. There could also be "balance" between the qualities, yielding a total of nine temperaments. The word "temperament" itself comes from Latin "temperare", "to mix". In the ideal personality, the complementary characteristics or warm-cool and dry-moist were exquisitely balanced. In four less ideal types, one of the four qualities was dominant over all the others. In the remaining four types, one pair of qualities dominated the complementary pair; for example; warm and moist dominated cool and dry. These latter four were the temperamental categories Galen named "sanguine", "melancholic", "choleric" and "phlegmatic" after the bodily humors. Each was the result of an excess of one of the humors that produced, in turn, the imbalance in paired qualities.
In The Canon of Medicine, Avicenna (980-1037 AD) then extended the theory of temperaments to encompass "emotional aspects, mental capacity, moral attitudes, self-awareness, movements and dreams."
Nicholas Culpeper (1616–1654) disregarded the idea of fluids as defining human behavior, and Immanuel Kant (1724–1804), Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925), Alfred Adler (1879–1937), Erich Adickes (1866–1925), Eduard Spranger (1914), Ernst Kretschmer (1920), and Erich Fromm (1947) all theorized on the four temperaments (with different names) and greatly shaped our modern theories of temperament. Hans Eysenck (1916–1997) was one of the first psychologists to analyze personality differences using a psycho-statistical method (factor analysis), and his research led him to believe that temperament is biologically based. The factors he proposed in his book Dimensions of Personality were Neuroticism (N) which was the tendency to experience negative emotions, and the second was Extraversion (E) which was the tendency to enjoy positive events, especially social ones. By pairing the two dimensions, Eysenck noted how the results were similar to the four ancient temperaments.
Other researchers developed similar systems, many of which did not use the ancient temperament names, and several paired extroversion with a different factor, which would determine relationship/task-orientation. Examples are DiSC assessment, Social Styles, and a theory that adds a fifth temperament. One of the most popular today is the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, whose four temperaments were based largely on the Greek gods Apollo, Dionysus, Epimetheus and Prometheus, and were mapped to the 16 types of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). They were renamed as Artisan (SP), Guardian (SJ), Idealist (NF), and Rational) (NT). Rather than using extroversion and introversion (E/I) and task/people focus, like other theories, KTS mapped the temperaments to "Sensing" and "Intuition" (S/N, renamed "concrete" and "abstract") with a new pair category, "cooperative" and "pragmatic" . When "Role-Informative" and "Role-Directive" (corresponding to orientation to people or to task), and finally E/I are factored in, you attain the 16 types. Finally, the Interaction Styles of Linda V. Berens combines Directing and Informing with E/I to form another group of "styles" which greatly resemble the ancient temperaments, and these are mapped together with the Keirsey Temperaments onto the 16 types.

The four temperament types
Each of the four types of humours corresponded to a different personality type.

Sanguine
The Sanguine temperament personality is fairly extroverted. People of a sanguine temperament tend to enjoy social gatherings, making new friends and tend to be boisterous. They are usually quite creative and often daydream. However, some alone time is crucial for those of this temperament. Sanguine can also mean very sensitive, compassionate and thoughtful. Sanguine personalities generally struggle with following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when pursuing a new hobby, interest is lost quickly when it ceases to be engaging or fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy. People of sanguine temperament can often be emotional.
Choleric
A person who is choleric is a do-er. They have a lot of ambition, energy, and passion, and try to instill it in others. They can dominate people of other temperaments, especially phlegmatic types. Many great charismatic military and political figures were choleric. They like to be leaders and in charge of everything. They can be very manipulative.
Melancholic
A person who is a thoughtful ponderer has a melancholic disposition. Often very considerate and get rather worried when they could not be on time for events, melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become occupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. A melancholic is also often a perfectionist. They are often self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is sometimes they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.
Phlegmatic
Phlegmatics tend to be self-content and kind. They can be very accepting and affectionate. They may be very receptive and shy and often prefer stability to uncertainty and change. They are very consistent, relaxed, calm, rational, curious, and observant, making them good administrators. They can also be very passive-aggressive.
Decline in popularity
When the concept of the temperaments was on the wane, many critics dropped the phlegmatic, or defined it purely negatively, such as the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, as the absence of temperament. In the Five Temperaments theory, the classical Phlegmatic temperament is in fact deemed to be a neutral temperament, whereas the "relationship-oriented introvert" position traditionally held by the Phlegmatic is declared to be a new "fifth temperament."
Modern adaptations
Christian writer Tim LaHaye has attempted to repopularize the ancient temperaments through his books. In Waldorf education and anthroposophy, the temperaments are used to help understand personality. They are seen as avenues into teaching, with many different types of blends, which can be utilized to help with both discipline and defining the methods used with individual children and class balance.
Psychologist and writer Florence Littauer also describes the four personality types in her book Personality Plus.
One of the most current assessments of the four temperaments, Personality Dimensions, was created in 2003 in Canada, utilizing the work of Linda Berens, David Keirsey, et al.
Author Rupert Thomson used the four temperaments in his dystopian novel Divided Kingdom as the basis for dividing the population of a futuristic society.
Temperament blends
LaHaye believes there are twelve mixtures of the four temperaments, representing people who have the traits of two temperaments, called Mel-Chlor, Chlor-San, San-Phleg, Phleg-Mel, Mel-San, Chlor-Phleg; and the reverse of these: Chlor-Mel, San-Chlor, Phleg-San, Mel-Phleg, San-Mel, and Phleg-Chlor. The order of temperaments in these pairs was based on which temperament was the "dominant" one (this is usually expressed by percentages). A person can also be a blend of three temperaments. Other four-type models, such as Social Styles, also have similar blends , and in the five temperament theory, the blends are defined along the three areas of "Inclusion", "Control", and "Affection". The blends expand the number of types to sixteen (twelve blends of two types, plus the four pure types) or more (for blends of three).
